How do I post an image in my blog?
To incude pictures in your blog entry, the images must be stored elsewhere, either in your photo album or on another website (we recommend Flickr.com or your own web site). To put the image in a blog post, you must obtain the address (URL) of the image file. To obtain the image's address, right-click on the image, select 'Properties', and copy what you see on the 'Address (URL)' line. In Netscape and Firefox browsers this will be the 'Location' line.

For instructions on how to include the image address in your blog entry, click the 'Insert Image' link at the top of the 'Start a New Blog Entry' box or click here.

Where can I store my images for free?
There are a number of sites on the web that will host pictures for you for free. Three of the most popular are
Flickr, BuzzNet, and Photobucket. You can also use the image address of a picture in your Campushopper Photo Album, but remember, if at some point you remove the picture from your Photo Album, then it will no longer work in your blog.

*Note: If you store your images on Webshots, your images may not display properly on remote websites (including Campushopper) due to security measures that Webshots has implemented.

Why is my image not clear?
Images linked from other websites (or your Campushopper photo album) that are larger than 470 pixels in width will be resized and may lose clarity. If your image has a width larger than 470 pixels and is not clear, we recommend making the image link to its full-size version by enclosing it in URL tags, as shown below:
