How do I convert my image to a JPEG? People often have trouble uploading their images because the images are in bitmap format: and they need to be in JPEG format: Open your image in Microsoft Paint. This program can be found from your desktop by selecting 'Start' -> 'All Programs' -> 'Accessories' -> 'Paint' With your image open, go to the 'File' menu at the top and select 'Save As...' A dialog box will open. At the bottom, in the 'Save as type' dropdown menu, select JPEG, and then click 'Save' Make sure that you have saved your file in a convenient spot, so that it will be easy to locate when you are ready to upload it.
