The site won't upload my picture!
Make sure that your picture is less than 500k. If your picture is too big, Campushopper will not upload it. Instead, an error page will be displayed. Campushopper also will not upload your picture if it is in the wrong format. Make sure that your picture is either a JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) or a GIF (.gif) file.

Why am I getting an error page?
If you are seeing an error page after you click on the 'Upload' button, which reads "The page cannot be displayed", this means that the file size of your image is too big! Make sure that the size of your image is less than 500k.

What picture formats can I upload?
All photos that you upload to Campushopper, including profile and community photos, must be in either JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) or GIF (.gif) format, and their file size must be under 500k.

What do JPEG and GIF mean?
JPEG and GIF are the two most common image file formats. They are recognized by their file name extensions. JPEG files end in either .jpg or .jpeg. GIF files end in .gif. Generally, JPEG is for moderate to large images and GIF is usually for smaller images like icons and animated GIFs. GIFs have less available colors than JPEG images, which in the case of large images can sometimes cause certain shadows and fades to appear pixilated. However, GIFs are usually sharper for small images, because no data is lost during creation.

What is the maximum uploadable file size of a picture?
All photos that you attempt to upload to Campushopper must be less than 500k. You can check the size of any file by right-clicking on it and then selecting 'properties'.
